A significant development has occurred on Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, with three new wallets withdrawing 2,173 BTC, valued at approximately $221.6 million, as reported by Lookonchain. While large withdrawals from exchanges are not uncommon, the sheer size of this transaction and its timing have drawn attention from market participants. In the crypto space, such withdrawals are often interpreted as signals that investors are accumulating coins. Whales typically move their assets to private wallets as part of a long-term investment strategy, which suggests they’re holding onto their crypto and not planning to sell in the near future. Although still 6.87% below its all-time high of $108,353, the market's steady growth has reignited optimism, highlighting strong demand for the leading cryptocurrency. FTX's Repayment Plan for Creditors Is Now in Effect Following Its Collapse

FTX’s repayment plan for its clients has officially begun. Under the plan, users claiming less than $50,000 may receive their funds within the next 60 days, provided they have submitted their claims via the official website. The initial group of claimants, categorized as "convenience" clients, will be the first to receive reimbursements. The reorganization plan, approved in October 2024, outlines that 98% of FTX clients may be reimbursed up to 119% of their claimed assets. This marks one of the final steps in the aftermath of FTX’s bankruptcy, which began in November 2022, and follows the sentencing of several executives for their roles in defrauding customers. Many creditors have raised concerns about the plan, especially since reimbursements are based on asset values at the time of the bankruptcy, when Bitcoin was trading much lower. As of now, the BTC price has surged by over 400%. BitGo and Kraken have also announced their potential involvement in distributing the recov...

Whale Alert, a leading blockchain tracking platform, has detected a massive Dogecoin deposit on Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange. The transaction, worth over $27 million, involved 70,081,151 DOGE and came from an anonymous wallet with only four recorded transactions. On January 6, the wallet received a large DOGE amount, which was later transferred to Binance. Cryptocurrency analyst Ali Martinez noted a sell signal on Dogecoin's chart using the TD Sequential indicator, predicting a potential price correction. After a 16% surge, DOGE dropped by 2.5%, trading at $0.38 at the time of writing. Meanwhile, Dogecoin creator Billy Markus humorously reacted to Bitcoin’s recent surge past $100,000, reflecting on Bitcoin’s volatility and his skepticism toward crypto as an investment tool. Despite holding a small amount of Bitcoin, Markus has repeatedly emphasized the unpredictability of crypto markets.
